Spring Los Angeles Lunch Bags Review and Giveaway (closed)
149 comments Posted by Rebecca at 6:16 AMIf you do manage to bring the brown bag with you to work, you know by the time you make it to the break room, your brown bag has been squished by someone else's lunch. Yeah, I know you know what I'm talking about. You open that bag and what was once your sandwich is now something unrecognizable. You then find yourself getting your keys and heading to the closest restaurant.
Here's a way to motivate you to take your lunch without the dreary brown bag. It's a designer lunch tote from Spring Los Angeles! Spring Los Angeles lunch totes have cute and modern designs and are durable enough for everyday use! I had a chance to review one in the Retro Reborn print. In addition to keeping my food insulated, it held up quite nicely. Oh, and instead of my lunch getting squished, my Spring Los Angeles bag got special treatment and lots of compliments! Not one time did anyone put their lunch on top of mine! I have to say there was an excitement in bringing my lunch. I had an oober cute bag and every time I saw it, it just put a smile on my face!

Spring Los Angeles lunch totes are as tough as you. Each tote is made with quality materials and built to last. The secret to their superior temperature retention is a multi-layer insulation consisting of a thick, polyethylene foam layered between an outer fabric layer, a water-proof and leak-resistant lining, and material backing (makes for easy clean up). Together, these four layers create maximum insulation to keep hot items hot and cold items cool. It also provides for sturdy construction and keeps your food protected from bumps and bruises!
Spring Los Angeles lunch totes are $19.95 and ship for $1. However, you can take advantage of their continued Black Friday sale and get the mystery tote for only $9.99 (through the end of today 11/30)! It is a mystery but you can't go wrong with Spring Los Angeles' cute and modern prints! What a great, practical, and affordable gift?! Also, my readers can take advantage of 15% off with promo code CBR15. So go ahead and get these fabulous lunch bags for yourself and those special people on your list. You deserve to add a bit of Spring to this holiday season!

A great story to read would be this about Spanky (above) the puppy. Spanky came from a litter my dog Puddin' had. Spanky was only a couple of weeks old and got a mysterious illness. I was determined not to let that dog die. Even though it was super expensive and we had all intentions of giving her away, I was going to do what it took. That just goes to show the human spirit when it comes to the love of animals.Aside from getting sick, there are things that happen that are beyond our control. I'm sure you've had the scare when you notice your dog isn't in the fence. Several things run through your head when you can't find him, aside from "Where is he?!" I know when I've played the waiting game for Puddin' to come home "Has she been hit by a car?" is a big one that has ran through my head. Thankfully, there is now affordable help available in case something bad happens and it comes from the least expected of places....Kroger.
Kroger Personal Finance® (KPF), a Kroger joint venture that brings together a wide array of quality financial products and services from preferred providers for Kroger customers, is making pet health insurance information available in the check lanes of more than 2,400 supermarkets operated by Kroger, the nation’s largest traditional grocery store operator.
“Kroger shoppers include pet owners and non-pet owners alike,” Kathy Kelly, president of Kroger Personal Finance said. “With 62 percent of U.S. households owning a pet – and 70 percent of those with multiple pets, affordable pet insurance can help pet owners manage their expenses. It can cover everything from routine costs associated with veterinary expenses like annual check-ups and vaccinations all the way to surgeries, x-rays and hospitalization.”
The newest product offered by KPF is its lowest priced “accident only” policy for $9.95 per month per pet.
Today, pet health insurance can cover accidents and illnesses, as well as routine care for dogs and/or cats. Depending on the coverage level and the number of pets insured, prices can range from $9.95 to $79.00 per month. The range of service covered by the premiums, as Kelly describes it, is nearly as broad as procedures covered by human insurance.
To pet owners, the appeal of insurance comes down to peace of mind, and hopefully not having to explore the limits of unconditional love.
“By paying monthly premiums there is no need to worry about suddenly struggling to come up with unbudgeted veterinary expenses down the road,” Kelly added. “It allows pets to receive expert care and helps their human families manage costs, now for less than 40¢ a day.”
More information about pet insurance is available on the Kroger Personal Finance Web site at http://www.krogerpets.com/

Based on the beloved characters from the published works of Richard Scarry, Cookie Jar Entertainment launches Busytown Mysteries on CBS. The Scarry books have sold over 150 million copies and have been translated into 30 languages over the last 40 years. If you grew up reading these books, you can now share the fun with your children watching Busytown Mysteries brand new TV series and check out all of the Busytown fun online at their comprehensive website.

The Busytown Mysteries follows the lives of 6 of the most beloved Scarry characters, lead by Huckle Cat and Lowly Worm, as they solve the many every day mysteries of Busytown. Where is Mr. Frumble’s pickle car? The Busytown kids will find out! How can they help a lost parrot find its owner? Leave it to Huckle and friends to solve the case! Busytown Mysteries engages children with fun storylines and lovable characters, while introducing them to deductive reasoning skills. Who? What? Where? When? Why?
The BusytownMysteries half-hour television program is made up of three 7-minute stories per episode, with two short musical numbers in between.
Busytown entertains and educates fans at home with the fun, interactive website BusytownMysteries.com where kids can explore different neighborhoods of Busytown, interact with the Busytown characters and play 14 games and activities designed for preschoolers, including games, a Fan Club and “My First Email,” which lets little ones email their progress to pre-approved friends and family addresses.

Brody is a computer nerd. At only 3 he loooooves playing on the computer. Once I learned that BusytownMysteries was on the web I knew he'd be all over it. And all over it he was. I was concerned it might be a little old for him (since he's 3). But, he held his own. He did have some questions on how to do things, but that's what mommy was there for. Between the two of us we have a great time playing on there!
Saturday mornings, grab your kids and catch the Busytown Mysteries on the CBS. (morning block of children’s programming, Cookie Jar TV) After it goes off, check out the BusytownMysteries.com website for tons of fun!

My son LOVES to play outside. Usually he's driving around the yard in his F-150 battery powered truck. Well, we started having problems when his transmission went out (wouldn't go in reverse). Soon after that, it died. I guess the battery wouldn't hold a charge anymore. Anyways, he was devastated. He loved riding it around. This review for the PlasmaCar couldn't have come at a better time!
The PlasmaCar is the neatest thing! It is truly a mechanical marvel that uses a little bit kid-power and a little bit of help from inertia, gravity and friction to get it going. Yup that's it! No gears, no pedals, no batteries! You simply just turn the steering wheel back and forth to get it going and just ride. This bad boy is made from strong ABS plastic, has six wheels, a seat, footrests and a steering wheel. It is built strong with no batteries to have to constantly replace! Of course it has also been extensively tested and meets or exceeds all of the international safety standards! You've gotta love that!
The PlasmaCar is fun for everyone. We received a red one that both my son and I rode it. (Yes, it can hold up to 220lbs!) I really did enjoy watching him play with it. It tickled me pink to see him trying to get up speed by doing the steering wheel back and forth really fast. He wanted to go faster! I'm so happy that all he wants to do now is run outside and get on his PlasmaCar. He has not said one thing about his F-150! (Thank God!) Actually, the PlasmaCar has been quite the buzz around the neighborhood. Several of our neighbors have come over to see what it is and their kids have rode on it. Everyone has loved it!
This Christmas, if you're looking for a ride on toy that is inexpensive, unique, and doesn't require batteries, I would wholeheartedly recommend the PlasmaCar. I promise, your kids will love it and you'll find yourself on it too!
The Plasma Car comes in pink, red, purple, blue, yellow and green. To buy a PlasmaCar for your child, please visit: http://www.plasmacar.com

Amon Maternity (even afterwards!) – Review and Giveaway (closed)
61 comments Posted by Rebecca at 12:01 AM
Amon Maternity is a company whose mission is to support expecting mothers in getting comfortable. Amon, which symbolizes creation, fertility and life, is dedicated to providing pregnancy belly support with revolutionary maternity support belts, pregnancy belly band and bodyshaper undergarments.

Whether you just had your baby or (like me) still look like you just had your baby, the Forgive bodyshaper is the way to go! It has a firming support system that helps tame and reduce the look of the that "pooch". Woo hoo! No more sucking it in!
I’ve never worn bodyshaper undergarments before. I had that thought that they were all created the same and would be uncomfortable. I was concerned that in addition to cutting off my air supply it was going to be something that I was going to have to keep hiking up throughout the day. Boy was I surprised with the Forgive bodyshaper. It wasn't the least bit uncomfortable. Oh, and it stayed in place all day. An added bonus was that I didn't get the "spill over" effect that I've seen with some support systems. It was magic! I could breath yet I looked slimmer! This is perfect for every day use. You can easily wear it with anything from work to casual or evening wardrobes.
I really did love the Amon Forgive bodyshaper. Of course my "pooch" didn't 100% disappear but it had quite the slimming effect. So much that I was able to go a notch up on my belt. I loved that! Higher self esteem in just an undergarment. Woot!
In addition to the Forgive bodyshaper, Amon Maternity also has other support essentials for pregnant women including: maternity underwear, maternity belt alternatives and plus size maternity wear.
I would wholeheartedly recommend the Forgive bodyshaper to anyone!
My wonderful readers will also get 10% off their order with code COPPER10 at checkout.Amon Maternity is also now offering free shipping, so go look it over!
