Free House Cleaning For Women with Cancer

Today, I was made aware of this organization and I just had to spread the word! The Cleaning For A Reason Foundation has made it where any woman who is under going chemotherapy can get FREE housecleaning one time per month for four months! She just simply has to sign up and have her doctor fax them a note confirming she is indeed receiving treatment! After that, Cleaning for a Reason will have a participating maid service in her zipcode area arrange for the service.

Cleaning For A Reason
serves the entire USA and currently has 547 partners to help! Please pass along this information. I know there's many women who could use this! Also, Cleaning For A Reason is powered by private donations, so I hope by spreading the word, we can help keep it alive!

Wow that is so awesome! My mom is such a clean freak but during her chemo couldn't find the energy to always do a big clean of their house (it's a large house and 3 stories). This would've been a fantastic service to help ease her mind in a time of such worry. She thinks and feels better in a clean house :) Thankfully she is in remission, but I love that this service is available to other's going through Chemo!

thank you so much for posting about this service. My mother just had her second chemo treatment yesterday, and while there they found that her hemoglobin count is very low--they want to give her a 2nd blood transfusion. As you can imagine, that means ZERO energy. She made one small trip to the store today and was absolutely wiped out. I just called her and told her about this and she was ecstatic...she's a clean freak, and I know it bothers her that she can't get the cleaning done.

Now I'm going to go make a donation! Thanks again.
