Ever Heard Of Woot.com?

Woot.com is an interesting website. Each day, they pick an item to be featured all day. They offer you a chance to purchase it all that day or until it sells out. Once it sells out nothing else will be featured until the next day. Unless they're having a Woot-Off which I'll explain in a minute.

Woot.com provides for an excellent avenue to find great deals. However, it is totally random what they offer from one day to the next. One day it could be an off brand MP3 player while the next could be a Roomba. I've even seen an electric lawnmower on there. They also sell a lot of desktop and laptop computer systems as well. Nevertheless, whatever it is, it's usually a good price. Whenever you find something you want, just click "I WANT THAT" and it can be yours! Don't get me wrong though, they do sell stuff you don't need too so use Woot.com sparingly.

I'm assuming that Woot-Offs are a time to clear out a large inventory in a short amount of time. During Woot-Offs they go through several products within a day. What happens is, they'll feature a product until it's sold out. Once it's sold out, they'll move to another product. They'll keep following this routine until the Woot-Off period they set runs out. It's addicting because at these times you have to watch the Woot-Off all day!


I personally use Woot.com. I always make a point to check it out on a daily basis. Today, I was able to find a Protocol Carlisle three piece luggage set on Woot.com. Now, we all know how expensive luggage can get. This brand is usually sold at JC Penny in the $150-$200 range. I was pleasantly suprised to find the set for only $29.99 + $5 shipping. Sadly the purple was already sold out so I opted for the black. Our luggage has seen better days so I figured at $34.99 it was a good time to replace it.
