Snapily - Awesome Animated Photo Cards! Free $3 Credit!

Two mothers receive photo cards in the mail with pictures of their children. One mother places the card in a box and forgotten. The other mother passes around her card and it is shown off at every opportunity.

What is the difference? Introducing Snapily!

Snapily

The first card is just so typical, it's forgettable. But the card from Snapily? It's actually animated! The photos flip from one photo to the next in the space of a single photo. No one else can do that!

Here are some great suggestions for how to get the best use out of this feature - siblings, before and after, well behaved and mischievous, 2 generations..or the most common use - for when you just can't decide which shot you love best. Drops Mobile Electronics - Your Mobile Electronics Installer in the Atlanta Area

drops mobile electronics
Have you ever wanted the “extras” on your car? Maybe you’ve been shopping for a new car and thought “Hey, a DVD player for the kids would be nice” or maybe you travel a lot and an in dash navigation unit would be handy. Sure, I think we’ve all been there until you actually look at the price breakdown on the window sticker.

For us, we thought about getting a new truck, but I still love mine. It’s been good to me, and it’d be like trading my husband for one with some six pack abs. Sure, it’d be nice I guess….until the new wore off and then you realize he doesn’t have the quirks you loved with your old husband. (Nice analogy huh?)

So anyways, we just decided to do some “plastic surgery” with my truck. I already had a lot of bells and whistles, but I didn’t have a DVD player. With it being Christmas, I thought this would be a great gift for the kids. Who am I kidding?! It was a gift for us! With the in-laws living two and a half hours away, and the frequency that we see them, it was getting to be a very trying trip. You just can't put a price on silence.

I searched online and found a great price for one that also had a Playstation 2 in it. This was a unit that went into the top of the car so while my husband does all of our installs, I was not about to let him cut the headliner. I love him dearly, but that kind of job could go south REAL fast and his redneck engineering just wasn’t going to cut it for this type of job. Needless to say I opted for a professional install.

drops mobile electronics
I contacted Drops Mobile Electronics on Saturday. Yes, “mobile”. They actually come out to your home or work to install the toys in your car in the Atlanta area! (Contact them to see exactly how far out they go) There’s no worrying about dropping off your car somewhere and waiting all day just to find out they haven’t gotten to your car yet! DeShawn Howard (the owner) called me back within the hour to discuss what I wanted installed. We discussed how we were going out of town Friday and he promised he’d have us taken care of ASAP. From the second he heard the model I had, he was totally knowledgeable about the good, the bad, and the solution to fix the bad.

It was a unit heavier than most, so he wanted to schedule us for Monday in the event we needed to get another, lighter unit installed in time for our trip Friday. I thought that was awesome, because really, that wasn’t his problem that I bought a heavy unit. I think for most other installers, it would’ve worked or it wouldn’t and they would've just left it at that. Actually, I'd be willing to bet that most wouldn't have even fooled with it or charged me more for the hassle. DeShawn was totally upfront with me about costs and what it would take to incur further costs. Totally affordable by the way!

drops mobile electronics
DeShawn came out on Monday totally prepared and ready to take on the job. He did a great job combining being likeable as well as professional. I loved that he had great attention to detail and really wanted to make sure we were happy with his install. There was actually a little gap between the unit and the headliner and he wasn’t going to leave it alone until it was perfect. I’m happy to say that he really did a great job! He even baby sat my husband with all of his questions. DeShawn held to his word that he gave me on the phone in regards to costs. There was no hee-hawing around about other things that had to be done...ect. *Thumbs up*

Mr B was able to get his Christmas gift early. I think you can tell it has his seal of approval.

You guys know when I come across a great product or great service that I’m going to share it with you and Drops Mobile Electronics is certainly a service I would recommend! They are affordable and reliable! If you’re in the market for a new car or you want to spruce up the one you have, check out the prices of aftermarket units and then check out Drops Mobile Electronics’ website. I think you’ll find it will be more affordable than adding those goodies on at the car lot!

LinkDrops Mobile Electronics is number one in my book! I will definitely be calling on them again!

Check out the Drops Mobile Electronics website for the installation services they provide from DVD, navigation, remote start and more!

Apparently @Paypal Doesn't Have Love For The Kids In Need, Look What They Did to @Regretsy

paypal sucks

I haven't liked using Paypal for a very long time. However, with the little sales I do on Ebay and like sites along with advertising on this blog, it is kind of a necessary evil. I have been jipped out of money several times do to scumbag buyers and the fact that Paypal doesn't protect sellers very well, even when proper steps are taken, but I digress.

When I read what happened with Regretsy today (beware of language), that absolutely took the cake. Let me start this by saying I'm sponsoring 4 less fortunate children this holiday and this just really hit home with me. The fact that people try to do good and this huge corporate doo doo head (keepin' it clean for the kids) stops it in it's tracks.

You can read the full story here but basically Regretsy collected donations for kids in need this holiday season. They were sending gifts to families that otherwise would not have a Christmas. This included toys and monetary donations. Paypal shut their operation down. They said they couldn’t use the “donate” button (yet Angie the Anti-Theist can use it? What?? And Paypal said they could use it to help their sick cat, but not kids… *scratches head*). So they were like okay… and they set up a “store” (essentially), “selling” the toys as gifts. Meaning, you buy a toy, and they send it to a child in need. Well, Paypal shut their store down as well! Then they froze the business account AND the personal account they have. I scaled that down for you so you could get the gist of it, but you can check out the dramatic interpretation of the call here, or the real call over at Regretsy.

Best part about the whole thing? Paypal kept fees for the donations. Paypal kept fees for the sales. They made Regretsy refund everything, and then they still kept the fees. NO JOKE!

I can't tell you how mad this made me. So, to be some what productive, I had to share it.

Outraged too? Sign the petition

PAYPAL! You don't mess with the kids and you certainly don't mess with the kids' holiday! Especially given the situations these kids are already facing! I would urge you to reassess this situation, open the shop back up, take off the holds, and refund the fees YOU TOOK! Those who share the story cannot be held liable for the viral wrath you face.
Paypal, while I know I may be asking too much of you, I'm asking you to DO THE RIGHT THING!

Update:

It seemed as though Paypal finally succumbed to the outrage. They submitted this post on twitter:

However, the word from
Regretsy (read update post here ) is that they haven't spoken to Paypal nor have they received any details in regards to the donation. Ugh!
